Why are you doing songs now and not rap?
I see myself as an artiste, and that means that I can do whatever kind of music I want. I can be a rapper, I can do pop music, I can do dancehall music or even soul music. Heading for a Grammy is rap, Mukulu, Take Care of me and Denge Pose is a fusion of rap and pop, Shake Body is pure afro pop. My new song, I am for Real is dancehall and Jekanmo is popular music. I am a musician, and my unique selling point is my ability to be versatile and do music that will make money for my mom, my management team, the label and myself without watering down the quality of my music.

Will you say Skales is better off after leaving EME?
Yes, but without going through EME, I doubt I would be here. I will say my time in EME was a learning process. You know the saying that without fire, you can’t get gold. That is how my stay in EME is for me. I am grateful for the period I was signed there, but Baseline is home now, and we are making this work.

If you were with them, do you think you would have gotten this far?

Family Of Late Actor Robin Williams, Fighting Over His Properties

 According to reports, Robin Williams' widow is fighting his 3 children over his properties. The kids say is clearly theirs and the dispute is so bad it has ended up in court.

According to TMZ:

 Susan Schneider has filed legal docs complaining someone came into the house days after Robin's death and took some of the actor's belongings. But the kids tell a very different story. 

 Zak, Zelda and Cody Williams claim Susan is essentially attempting a money grab by ignoring the plain language of his will and trust and trying to redefine it to benefit her. 

 Sources connected with the kids tell TMZ ... Susan refused to let them in the house after Robin died. We're told before Robin met Susan -- he was very clear in the trust he created ... he left his personal effects, including his Oscar for the movie "Good Will Hunting", movie memorabilia, action figures, graphic novels, theater masks and other items to his 3 children. 

 Susan who was only married to Robin for 3 years, acknowledges she has no right to items related to his acting career, such as his suspenders from "Mork and Mindy," but she wants other items like the tux from his wedding and other "knickknacks." 

 Sources connected with the children say Susan can absolutely keep the items she accumulated with Robin while they were married, but they say she has gone way further. For example, they're indignant she is apparently trying to redefine the word "jewelry." We're told the kids are supposed to get all of it, but she's saying "jewelry" does not include his watch collection. 

 And people who were extremely close to Robin say he would be heartsick that this was not worked out between family privately.

Shocking : Abandoned Day-old Baby Dies After Crowd Gathered To Take Photos But No one Saved Him

 And what is our society turning into today? A woman, who is believed to be mentally unstable, is believed to have dumped her new-born baby by the roadside in the Abule Egba area of Lagos. The woman, who was said to be dark in complexion, was always reportedly roaming the area which is near a filling station.

 It was gathered that the baby was wrapped in a black sack, neatly clothed and covered with a plaster on the mouth. He was dumped in the area on Wednesday, January 28.

 Speaking with PUNCH Metro, a trader, Mrs. Atanda Kuforiji, said they were taken aback by the sight of the abandoned baby. She added that a resident of the area drew the attention of other residents to 

the presence of the baby dumped by the roadside.

 She explained that everybody went to the scene to see why the resident was shouting, only to be confronted by the sight of the new baby. She said:

 “The baby was wrapped in a sack and placed by the roadside. I saw a crowd gather and decided to have a look; the child was still alive. People took pictures of the baby. His mouth was covered with a plaster to prevent him crying out. Everybody was saying what came into their heads, but nobody offered to help the baby.”

 It was learnt that many of the dwellers in the area were too scared to pick the baby from where he was dumped. But they said they suspected that the baby belonged to the mentally-unstable woman.

A driver, Mr. Lasisi Gafar, said since the incident, nobody had seen the woman in the area. He said:

 “There used to be a female lunatic around the street who was pregnant, but since the child had been dumped I have not seen any trace of her. We suspect that she was the one that dumped the baby here, but nobody could find her to question her.”

He added that neither he nor most people in the area knew when and how the baby was dumped by the roadside. It was gathered that the baby later died after struggling to live for over six hours.

A trader, who identified herself simply as Iya Monsura, said:

“The child was alive as of 11am, but when government officials came around 5pm, he was dead. They took the dead body away.”

 It was learnt that no efforts was made to report the case of dumped baby to the police. Some of the residents said such attempt could put them in trouble as the police might treat them as suspects.
