Is D'banj Getting Back With Don Jazzy And His Mavin Crew?

It is being said that the 'eja nla' himself, D'banj is getting back with his one-time business partner Don jazzy after a long and public split. He is said to be getting back with the record label now known as Mavin records.

It was said that he has thought and thought about this and would like to 'go back home'. He said "I want to be clear on something, that I maintained a close relationship with Wande, Don Jazzy, Sid and everybody in Mavin (former Mohits), even when we were not together again. I'm not interested in going into the debates of whatever Dbanj said, be it through an interview, the press, social media or whatever.

People should try and understand that these things happen, and after i took my time thinking, i have finally made up my mind. i'm coming back home". Some other sources say that the rift was settled by a certain Oba of lagos. Don Jazzy also wrote this as his blackberry messenger's pm "Feels good to have you back bro..."

With the release of D'banj's own record label's first album 'D' kings Men' and his increasing popularity as a G.O.O.D music member, can this really be possible? What if he bails out on the Mavin again. Do you think this duo should get back together despite everything?

In this interview, he talked about his career, his foreign connections, his plans for 2013, and his split up from Mo'Hits. The most shocking to me was when he said, "I dont think I can ever be close to Don Jazzy again" I never knew their quarell was that bad.

Anyway watch the video below and tell me if you think D'banj and Don Jazzy can still work out their friendship.

Don Jazzy’s PoP Night Club Is Former Club 10

Producer extraordinaire and CEO of Mavin records, Don Jazzy, flung open the doors of his PoP night club to the public last Friday in the Victoria Island area of Lagos.
The club formerly known as ‘Club 10,’ and owned by mercurial midfielder, Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, was bought by the award winning producer for an undisclosed sum thus signaling a new ownership and brand name.
It would also be recalled that Don Jazzy’s ex-business partner and friend, Dbanj, also opened his own night club, one Eleven, on Victoria Island on Friday 14th December and even though some see the move as a sign of competition between the duo, insider sources maintain it is a mere coincidence borne of an entrepreneurial spirit as they are both extending their business interests.
