Nigerian Men Can Lie For The Whole Of Africa-Yvonne Nelson Reveals In New interview

Well, they say one man's meat is another man's poison. While so many foreign women would love to be with a Nigeria man, Ghanaian actress who has had a bad experience with them is saying Nigeria men she has met can lie for Africa. In the latest issue of Genevieve Magazine,Yvonne Nelson opened up at length on love,relationships and dating Nigerian men.She also addressed her relationships with Iyanya,Ice Prince

On who she plans to date next..

 I don’t know yet. I can’t say I want a Nigerian, or a Gambian or a Cameroonian. When it happens, it happens. But Nigerian men can lie. Nigerian guys can lie for the whole of Africa. They will come with all the lies because they know that women respond to the things they hear. The lies are just so crazy. And I’m not some 19 year-old who just wants to have fun. I’m not in that place anymore. So I’m taking my time to get it right.

On being in love

 I miss the late night phone calls, and the never-ending text messages. I miss that strong sense of desire that exists between two people who can’t get enough of each other. I miss that rush of adrenaline, the weakness at the knees and that joy that makes you laugh even when there’s nothing funny. I just miss loving someone and being loved in return.

Her relationship with Ice Prince...

 I wasn’t in a relationship with Ice Prince; he was just a friend to me. I don’t understand the kind of attention he was trying to draw to himself by claiming we had a relationship. If he wanted to say the truth, why didn’t he just say it from the beginning? All along he’d been saying that we’re friends and all of a sudden he turns around to claim that it was more than a friendship. C’mon!

On Iyanya: 

We did have a relationship. I loved him at a point. It just didn’t work out.

On dating him again..

 Never! It’s like eating your vomit. No way! It’s not happening ever. As a matter of fact I’m not interested in anybody in the arts, because it is not the right place to invest time and emotions. A lot of entertainers have so much on their table, so they would not give the real thing. I know my values; I am loyal and straightforward, but a lot of entertainers are not like that. They would just lie to you and waste your time. That is because, like pilots, entertainers go around a lot. In every country a pilot goes to, he can decide to have a wife or girlfriend. So they can actually lead like a hundred different lives and none of these women will know.

On what she's learnt from past relationships:

 Don’t believe the hype. Don’t believe all the things men say. A man who is all-sexual from the very beginning is a no go area; he just wants to jump into bed into you. If a man truly loves you, and is ready to be with you, he will be there for you. Relationships are much more beautiful when it starts as a friendship. So you are able to goof around with the person. I love goofing around. I love to be myself and do funny videos. That’s why people think that John Dumelo and I have a thing, because John is such a perfect friend.

Yvonne Nelson Opens Up On Fight With John Dumelo

The social media fight between Yvonne Nelson and handsome actor John actor has got everyone talking for days now. While many think the fight will cause a big rift between both celebs, Yvonne has come to water down the effect of the fight.The beautiful actress and entreprenuer talked about the disagreement on Y107.9FM, a popular radio station in Ghana, saying:

“I’m sure everyone knows John will forever be my baby boo, love, friend, best friend… charley I can go on and on. Chaley I love John oh, we were not fighting, it was just some little child’s play on social media. So me and John we are good, don’t get worried and don’t get scared. His an amazing guy, I don’t think he is in Ghana now. When he comes I know he is going to say all the nice things about me. Me and John we are homies, we are Fantes.
“It’s just the campaign or whatever that started this but let’s not go there. Because I think the a*s kissing tweet wasn’t too bad for him to react that way because I normally tell him he feels like a hundred donkeys and hundred chickens and he is cool. We play like that and we have that relationship. It’s all political.

Defending the fact that she angrily deleted the actor’s photos on her Instagram account during the heat of the fight, Yvonne said that she occasionally deletes some of her Instagram photos.

 Don't even know what this means... Top Ghanian Actress/producer Yvonne Nelson has stated that she is a secondary virgin and would want to concentrate more on her career as marriage is not on her itinerary for now.

 The actress stated this in an interview with KSM on the KSM’s Show on Metro TV,

“This year I’m a secondary virgin I’m just trying to concentrate on my career. I’m not in a rush; I don’t want to marry today and divorce tomorrow because it happens a lot in the industry. Marriage is a beautiful thing but it has to be right. I don’t want to let my mom down, I want to make her and myself happy”, she said.

 “Most Ghanaian and Nigerian men are intimidated; most often when it’s age appropriate; then they think I’m doing better than them and that I’m going to be bossy and control them around. Those around my age are bothered that I’m an independent lady. That has always been the problem”.

 “There was about two guys who got scared. But I really don’t mind. Middle of last year, I was trying out something and I wasn’t convinced so I backed off. It had to do with the man not being matured enough” she explained.

 She however talked about her dream man saying;

“The person has to be age appropriate – a five year gap is okay. But I don’t want someone too old because when that happens, you can’t hold a conversation with such a person”.

 The producer also explained that she does not want to date anyone in the industry especially John Dumelo as according to her, the actor is a ladies’ man and will forever be.

 “I have been declaring this on social media every time that John is not my boyfriend. John has a lot of girlfriends. He is a ladies’ man and he will forever be John. Plus I don’t want any man in the industry".

Yvonne Nelson Heartbroken As She Losses Star Of Her 'If Tomorrow Never Comes' Movie

 Actress Yvonne Nelson has revealed that Kwaku, a little boy battling cerebral retardation, who her upcoming movie 'If Tomorrow Never Comes' is centered around is dead.

 Yvonne Nelson told fans Kwaku died yesterday in Accra Ghana few days after she wrapped up the project.

In her words:

 “Had the amazing and eye opening opportunity to film with this child in his challenging condition…unable to talk or walk, cerebrally deformed and yet with a glow that can pierce any heart…His mother blatantly refused to poison him as her family demanded and stuck with her guts to give him a chance at life. I have known the treasure of raising kids…the joy they bring and emptiness life can be without them and so when I met this child through the Luckie Lawson Foundation and Initiative, I decided his story could and should be told…this forms the premise for an Yvonne Nelson Productions film, ‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’… it is therefore heartrending to note that Kwaku, this said child, 2 weeks after shoot just passed away in an Accra hospital..He required no greater honour than at least living to share a part of his story with the world. GOD bless your hearts Luckie Lawson Foundation, Yvonne Nelson Productions… Kwaku lives on!!”

“This lil angel I have in my arms is the reason why I shot ‘IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES’, he inspired a huge part of the story. I heard about him 2years ago from @luckielawson. I sat down with Pascal Amanfo and we decided to get a script ready…..after 2years I decided one morning I was ready to shoot…so we scheduled everything….wrapped up 2 weeks ago on the 25th of January only to get a call this afternoon about my lil angel’s death. He was suffering from a cerebral malformation, he could not sit, stand, walk or even talk…..

I asked myself one evening on set, what if a mosquito bites him, who will even scratch it for him, I’ve been crying throughout this afternoon. I’m heartbroken. Life is too sad. R.I.P my angel”.
