10 Signs She Wants You To Ask Her Out

Sometimes it’s hard to know if a girl is sending you signals to ask her out, or if she is just friendly, or is actually obsessed with your friend, or what. But watch closely for these cues, because if she’s throwing them at you, it means she’s probably hoping you ask her out. So just work up the courage to do it and do it. Godspeed!

 1. She starts liking something random you like after you mentioned you liked it. Oh, what’s that? She likes Neko Case all of the sudden? Wowza, what a huge coincidence. She knows all about the Manchester United game even though two days ago she knew shit about soccer? Holy smokes. She knows all about the new Kid Cudi album that just dropped after you were just saying how excited you were about it? Yeah, these aren’t coincidences, so don’t overlook them. Don’t make her feel dumb by saying, “Oh please you said you hate soccer!” Follow her lead. Let her brag about her new knowledge. Teach her something new. Plan a date around it. Because you’re definitely going to want to ask her out.

 2. She touches your arm a lot. Sorry, it’s all we’ve got, guys. We want to touch you but many places seem off limits. Touching your face would make us feel like we are in a Hallmark commercial, touching your chest would make us feel like we were in a Lifetime movie, and touching your junk would make us feel like we were in a porno. Basically, that leaves the arm. So we touch it a lot if we are interested. If you can think of something better let us know. 

 3. She laughs at everything you say. Yeah, even when you aren’t really saying anything that funny. Sorry. It’s something we can’t help and we probably aren’t proud of. It’s not that we are faking it, we are just really giddy to be around you if we have a crush on you. So everything seems a little lighter, a little more fun, and a little more likely to make us bust our gut or snort or… I’m just not going to say it.

 4. She keeps asking you to do the most odd, unrelationships things. If she keeps asking you to do non-date things, like going to weird comedy shows that are sort of far away or going to her brother’s baseball game or feeding the neighbor’s cat, she is doing the dance of doing absolutely everything except for asking you out on a real date. So why don’t you do everyone a favor and ask her out? You both will have a better time doing something other than working her hectic charity event or helping her move.

 5. She sends you mail. Real mail. She had to get paper and a writing device — which are increasingly becoming hard to come by. She had to write with her handwriting, which she hardly does anymore. She put way more thought into her words since she wasn’t just shooting them out on her keyboard. And she licked and sealed the envelope. That is love. Or at least mega-like. Ask her out, for goodness sake.

6. She always wants to be in pictures with you. Are there a disproportionate amount of pictures of you with her than with other people? Especially guys? 

7. She wants be be part of your life. She wants to show you off. She wants you to remember her. She is inserting herself into your life in the only way she can without asking you out. She has agreed to do anything you have suggested so far. 

If you’re asking her to do anything with a group of friends or anything non-datey, and you hardly have to finish the question “Do you want to go rock climb…” or “Do you want to grab a bee…” before she says yes, she’d rather be doing these things as your girlfriend. Especially if she says it like it’s not even a question. Of course she will! With gusto, she’ll be there with bells on! She’s psyched about anything because you will be there.

 8. She hasn’t mentioned any other guys in your presence. That’s because she’s not thinking of any other guys. And she won’t even bring up friend boys, because she doesn’t want you to assume they are boyfriends. 

 9. She brings you something when you're sick or similarly cooks you anything ever. Yeah, she’s showing you her nurturing side. It’s not because she’s filling some gender role, she’s just seizing the opportunity to be sweet. It’s an easy in to make you a casserole or drop by with some ginger ale. 

 10. You have met her friends and they seem surprisingly psyched to meet you. They are already excited to see you and already know what you do because they have heard about you. In fact, they might be sick of you. They might be thinking, “Will you just ask her out already?” So go ahead and do it.

"I have been suffering menstrual pains since age 13' - Nike Oshinowo opens up,,,

Endometriosis is painful disorder in which the tissue that lines the uterus grows outside of the uterus and on other organs. Endometriosis can cause pain, internal scar tissue and fertility problems and former beauty queen Nike Oshinowo has been battling with it for over 33 years. Nike explains:

"I have lived with Endometriosis since the age of 13. I went to boarding school in England  when I was 7. I went to prep school. It was during the first few days in secondary school that I began my periods. They called the ambulance and I was hospitalized for 10 days because the pain wouldn't stop. The pain was so intense I passed out. I thought I was going to die.

Living with Endometriosis is a challenge. When you see your doctor, your doctor tries to treat the symptoms and assumes the pain revolves around your menstrual circle. But this is not so. The pain affects every single aspect of your life. I have never had an examination without my period. There are so many things I have never done without my period. When I am happy, my period comes. When I'm depressed, my period is there. I learned to just cope with it. 

Until I turned 40, Nigerians didn't know I suffered from Endometriosis. I granted an interview then and people understood why I never drank alcohol and why I was into healthy living. At last, it was understood why if I come to your party, by 8pm I had to go home to take my pain killers because when you live with Endometriosis, you live with pain. I have a library in my home about pain.

I talk about this pain now so that mothers, when their young daughters are starting their period for the first time and it is traumatic, they should go to the hospital and have it checked out.

Mine was left so late in life in spite of the fact that I grew up in England. I have had so many surgeries I have lost count. I remember when Michael Jackson died and they talked about a drug he had been taking. I exclaimed oh yes I have taken that drug. You try everything to make the pain go away, so all I know is that I don't want a child of mine to suffer Endometriosis. The only way to make sure of that is to educate as many as I can.

One ignorant doctor told me once to try to have a baby, because once you have a baby the pain would go away. I thought to myself if I had a gun, I would have shot that doctor and I would have been locked and there would have been no one to give me pain killers. The reason for that relief is that when you are pregnant, you don't have periods and a long gap of not menstruating actually abates the symptoms of Endometriosis.

Women with Endometriosis do not want to have sex because it is painful. So you do not want to have intercourse once and it is painful, you will not want to go there. It is not something you are going to look forward to. You are either bleeding or you do not want. So, on the average, my friend's period is 5 days, mine, if I'm lucky lasts 7-10 days and if I'm super duper lucky, lasts less than 7 days. If you look at a girl's circle, 26-27 days, remove the days she's been menstruating and remove the days she doesn't want, when she had premenstrual tension. When every part of you is sore, on those days you are not going to want and even on the remaining 5 or so days that you are OK, you are not going to want to have intercourse it is going to be painful. You just don't want to, so you cannot have a proper relationship with men.

Endometriosis is a disease. You are not supposed to have endometrial tissue in your abdomen. Surgery removes it. But the moment you menstruate, the pain comes back. My understanding is that I have a uterus, every woman does. Something lines it. Just like when you want to bake, you line your pan with baking paper. That baking paper or lining is the endometrial tissues. But mine isn't just confined to my uterus. It's in my fallopian tube, it's every where. Everywhere this tissue is, when you menstruate, that tissue will be doing the same thing. and you feel pain everywhere. Anywhere that tissue is, it behaves as if it is the uterus. The purpose of menstruating is to shed the lining and come out. I know someone who has endometrial tissue in her gut. Even in the brain. When you menstruate, it also menstruates and you feel pain there. 

I am almost 47 and I am looking forward to menopause. People like us look forward to it because it give us a breather. I have finally learned how to cope with the pain, how to live with it and how to manage it. It takes up a huge amount of my time and life...

Why I shaved off my dreadlocks

As a matter of fact, I wasn’t born with dreadlocks. I just promoted that look. The main reason I shaved off the dreads was because I was getting more matured and considering the kind of business I do, I decided to look like a CEO that I am.

 I also considered the fact that I want to get to the next level in life and looking at my friends that are also CEOs, most of them do not sport dreads. I took of my dreads to compliment the Waconzy 2.0, that it is the new Waconzy, the elevated, rebranded and upgraded Waconzy. To a reasonable extent, it will reflect in my new songs and my new album, Money Back Guaranteed. The fact that I took of the dreads does not change me, if at all, it makes me look better.

About my company

I own DV8 Innovation. It is the parent company, DV8 media is under it.  I bought it for over $100,000. I paid them off their equity. The company was worth about $300,000, but I had more equity then and I had to pay everybody off their equity. Now it is a lot bigger and I thank God for the journey so far.

How I was able to come up with the $300,000

I am a graduate. People should not just look at me as an upcoming artiste. Even if you have a shopping mall and you started a new business, maybe a barber’s saloon, you must become an upcoming barber. Any new business you start, you must become new in it. The fact that I started doing music does not mean I have not been doing things before now. 

I have always had a project management degree and I have always been a project management professional. My life still goes on, I have always been doing things in the past and I have always been a businessman. I have been running all sorts of businesses and I also handle contracts. People should not just look at me as a musician. I am a graduate and a businessman.

I import cars, inverters; I have an event solutions company. We have equipment for events, speakers, lights, smoke machines, cameras, and other things.

Why I relocated to Lagos

I moved to Lagos because the major seaport is in Lagos which is in Tincan Island, Apapa. Also, Lagos is the hub of entertainment in Nigeria. It is the powerhouse of entertainment in the country. It is only wise for me to move to were it is happening more. 

Before now, I used to ‘live’ in the air, travelling from one place to another. Most my businesses had always been in Lagos, so I decided to relocate to Lagos instead of shuttling from Port Harcourt to Lagos and other places.

Frequent travels

I was travelling a lot during the period of frequent plane crashes. I was not afraid because if you are always scared, you are as good as dead. What will happen will happen and God has always told me that I will never find myself in the midst of negativity. He will always be there for me. I was scared for every other person, but I was not scared for myself because I believe no negativity would come close to me. That is my belief and it has always worked for me. I thank God that nothing bad has happened to me.

Surpassing my hit song, Celebrate

Celebrate was just like every other song that I did. The same inspiration I got for Celebrate is the same inspiration I got for Too Much Money, and other songs that I have done. It is by the grace of God that everybody loves Celebrate. 

It is not because of the song. I did not sing what nobody has sung before. I did the song based on the inspiration I got at that moment. I believe that in my new album, Money Back Guarantee, the grace of God will be on lots of songs. I took on serious issues in the album. It is a 19-track album and they are all wonderful songs.

My source of inspiration

No matter how much you have, if you are not adding to it, the money will finish before you know it. I am always trying to make things happen. I am always trying to elevate, from one level to another. My inspiration does not come from my hustle per se; it is about what I see. The fact that I am somewhere and I see a lot of people, I try and draw inspiration from them. How they perceive life and how I feel life should be. 

My relationships–family but it has to be real–my music is real. The fact that I have money now does not mean that I will not work harder to surpass where I am. My inspiration comes from anywhere, my travels to other countries and what I have seen abroad. My new single, Club on Fire, was actually inspired by what I saw in Amsterdam. I was in a club were the club was actually on fire. 

Inside the club, rain water was dropping, it was a wonderful experience and the main songs we heard there was techno, the same kind of dance song in Club on Fire. I actually brought it down to African style. Everything I do is as a result of what I have seen to a reasonable extent.

My acceptance level worldwide

I have toured lots of countries both in Africa and beyond and I am still going to tour Europe soon.  I feel blessed but no matter how much of a star I feel I am, I always remember to give God the glory because without His grace, I am nothing. I always remember that I have to be humble. The last time I travelled, I was treated like a superstar 14 hours away from my country but when I got back to Nigeria, I know I had to keep a level head.

Kim Kardashian, Baby Kimye 'Doing Fine' After Rumored Pregnancy Scare

 By all accounts, rumors of Kim Kardashian's baby scare have been greatly exaggerated. On Thursday, the New York Post reported that Kim was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday night fearing that she was having a miscarriage after returning from Paris Fashion Week. She was in the city to spend time with her boyfriend Kanye West. 

A source told the newspaper that her concern was "a false alarm," but doctors did reportedly tell the reality starlet to slow down, which includes pushing the brakes on her workout routine. She has reportedly stepped up her workout regimen to keep her famous figure as fit as possible during her pregnancy. On Thursday, little sister Khloe took to her blog to clear up the speculation about Baby Kimye. 

"A lot of you have expressed concern in the recent hours about Kim, and I just wanted to let you all know that mommy and baby are doing fine and just taking it easy right now," she wrote. "Thank you so much to all of our wonderful fans and loved ones for your concern and support. 

We love you!" A source also told E! News that Kim is under "doctor-ordered rest," adding, "She's been working a lot and with the divorce, moving, etc., [she] just needs to take a little rest." Kim has yet to comment on the speculation about her pregnancy. 

Though she did maintain her blog on Thursday — including posts about her DuJour magazine party, skinny jeans and a Throwback Thursday post featuring a photo of her as a Pussycat Doll back in 2008. Kanye first announced that he and Kim were expecting back in December during a show in Atlantic City. Earlier this year Kim confirmed that the baby is due in July.

Bieber Recovering After Fainting at London Concert

Justin Bieber is recovering after fainting backstage at a concert in London.A spokeswoman for Bieber told The Associated Press late Thursday that the 19-year-old pop star was given oxygen and took a 20-minute reprieve after fainting backstage at London’s O2 Arena.

In a video of the concert posted online, Bieber’s manager appeared on stage Thursday and told the crowd that the singer was feeling “very low of breath” but would return to finish the show.

The “Baby” singer is in London to perform four concerts at the O2 arena. He was widely criticized for arriving late to his first show Monday.

Nwankwo Kanu Loses N1.4 Billion

Nigeria’s football star, Nwankwo Kanu has lost N1.4 billion in his hotel business and the Managing Director of the hotel, Mr. Ayoola Gam Ikon, 49, has been arrested and charged to court for the alleged fraud.

Operatives of the Inspector General of Police Monitoring Unit arrested Ikon, the managing director of Hardley Suites Limited situated at Waziri Ibrahim Crescent, off Elsie Femi Pearse Street, Victoria Island, Lagos southwest Nigeria,  for allegedly stealing the N1.4 billion belonging to the hotel and suites owned by Kanu.

Also arrested along with him  over the alleged fraud is a hotel staff, Oke Samuel.

They were arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate’s court on a 19-count charge of felony to wit, obtaining money under false pretence.

The police alleged in charge suit No. K/8/2013 that Ikon was arrested following a complaint by the management of Hardley Suites Limited, Nwankwo Kanu and Ogbonna Kanu, that Ikon between 2005 and 2012 allegedly defrauded them of the sum of about N1.4 billion on the pretence of using the money to expand the existing facilities of the hotel by constructing and furnishing of additional blocks of 30 suites and conference facilities, but he allegedly failed to use the money for the purpose and allegedly converted the money to his personal use.

He was also alleged to have forged a special resolution purportedly made by the board of directors of Hardley Suites Limited to obtain loans of N187 million, N50 million and N493 million from Skye Bank Plc without authorization.

The offences, the accused allegedly committed, according to the prosecutor A.M. Animashaun, contravenes sections 8 (a) 1 (a) of the advanced fee fraud and other fraud related offences Act 2006 as applicable in Lagos State.

The accused pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

The prosecutor presented before the court an application for the remand of the accused persons in prison custody pending advice from the office of the directorate of public prosecution, DPP, because the lower court lacks the jurisdiction to try the matter.

But the Chief Magistrate, Mrs. O.O.  Oshin overruled him with legal facts after quoting copiously from several sections of the criminal justice administration laws of Lagos State to buttress her claim that the court has the jurisdiction to hear and admit the accused to bail.

She admitted the first defendant to bail in the sum of N1 million with two sureties in like sum.

One of the sureties must be the defendant himself, the other should be a civil servant on level 16.

She also admitted the second defendant to bail in the sum of N500,000, with two sureties in like sum. One of  the sureties must be a level 16 civil servant while the other must be working with a reputable company.

She adjourned the matter till 4 April, 2013 for mention.

The defendants were, however, moved to Ikoyi Prison, Lagos pending when they would fulfil the bail conditions.

Undertaker's Manager is DEAD

Weird and freaky William Moody, better known to pro wrestling fans as Paul Bearer, the pasty-faced and the manager of The Undertaker and Kane, has died. He died on tuesday at 58. The cause of his death was not revealed by his family.  It will be recalled that he battled health and weight problems in the past.

TV Star Valerie Harper has brain cancer-Has 3 months to live

Valerie Harper, who played Rhoda Morgenstern on television’s The Mary Tyler Moore Show and its spinoff, Rhoda, has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

People magazine reports on its website Wednesday that the 73-year-old actress received the news on Jan. 15. The report says she has as little as three months to live.

Harper tells the magazine in a cover interview: “I don’t think of dying. I think of being here now.”

Harper’s character, Rhoda, was one of television’s most beloved sidekicks during the 1970s.

Kanye West unhappy at only being voted number seven on list of greatest rappers

Kanye West has admitted he is annoyed that he was only voted as the seventh best rapper in the world in a list compiled by MTV. 

In a rare interview with US radio station Hot 97, the hip-hop superstar said that he felt the decision had been made on other criteria rather than his body of work and that his public persona counted against him. 

"Yeah, number seven bothers me," he said when asked about the list. "To me, I feel like in order for them to put me as number seven, they had to bring up things they didn't like. They didn't like the 'Cruel Summer' album, and I'm like, 'That's just [a] compilation.'

"I don't know, it's definitely not based on a body of work," he continued. "It possibly could just be like overall rap MC swag. What happens is, with these type of things... they don't like 'Givenchy' Kanye, they don't like Kanye in a kilt, they don't like Kanye in a relationship."

However, West did say that he didn't think he deserved the top spot - instead, he insisted that the honour should go to Lil Wayne, who he called "the number one rapper in the world". Other rappers who have made MTV's list so far include Meek Mill, Future, A$AP Rocky, Big Sean and Drake.

Donald Trump Criticizes "Django Unchained", Calls It A Racist Movie.

Billionaire businessman Donald Trump coughed out his opinion on Quentin Tarantino's movie "Django Unchained". 

 The business mogul turned to twitter and posted that 'Django Unchained' "is the most racist movie ever…" and that "...it sucked!" Continuing his tirade, Trump said on "Fox and Friends" program that the movie -which he calls 'racist'- was "...a disgrace."

 Although, no one could say for sure where Trump's rants are welling up from, he denounced the 'ill' way in which characters died in the movie.
