"I Didn't Know About Stella's Tummy Tuck Surgery That Killed Her' - Former President Olusegun Obasanjo Reveals
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has revealed In his very controversial new autobiography titled, My Watch, that he didn't know that his late wife, former First lady Stella Obasanjo had been planning to undergo a tummy tuck to mark her 60th birthday anniversary. A cosmetic surgery that later killed her.
On page 240 in Volume two of his book, Obasanjo said it was after she had died on October 23rd 2005 in Spain that he found out what really killed her. Read what he wrote below....
"After the internment, I decided to look into the circumstances of her death. I found that part of her 60th birthday anniversary, which was unknown to me, was her operation for her tummy and her shape.”
The former President said through the help of the Nigerian Embassy in Spain, he was able to get justice for his wife who according to him, died due to the cosmetic surgeon's carelessness.
"I instructed that the doctor and the clinic be prosecuted. The lost life cannot be brought back but the successful prosecution would prevent carelessness and loss of life in the future".
He said the doctor was made to pay damages which was collected by Olu, Stella's only child and the doctor's license withdrawn.
He also addressed insinuations that he used his wife as a sacrifice for his success in office
"Before the verdict in Spain, I was unaware of what I came to hear later that I might have caused the death of my wife to sacrifice her for success in my job. That is how wicked and satanic some Nigerians can be in their rumors and mischief.” he said

T.B Joshua Reacts To Reports That He Had Ties With Dead Lawyer
Prophet T.B Joshua has reacted to reports that a Kenyan lawyer who committed suicide on November 26th had ties with his Church. The man's family linked his bizarre death to Synagogue Church of All Nations as the late lawyer and wife were alleged to be strong followers of his church.
The man, Paul Magu (pictured above with wife) killed his wife, Lydia, and mutilated her body before committing suicide. The couple's 3 children are also now missing. To understand this better, read the report from Kenyan publications about the story and T.B Joshua's reaction to it below...
Could the dead parents of the three missing children in Nairobi have been members of a religious cult? That was one of the theories that detectives were pursuing Monday after the family revealed to them that lawyer Paul Magu and his wife Lydia Wangui were staunch followers of controversial Nigerian TB Joshua's Synagogue Church of All Nations (Scoan).
Magu's passport showed he had travelled to Nigeria more than 20 times since 2009 to attend the church services. On September 12, 2014, the church's guesthouse collapsed in Lagos killing 84 South Africans. Monday, the family and police intensified their search for the missing children, concentrating on major dams in Kiambu and Thika.
The children went missing on Tuesday after the bodies of their parents were found in separate locations in Nairobi and Thika. They were identified as Allen, 9, Ryan, 8, and Tiffany Muthoni, 5.
Police suspect Magu may have killed the wife on November 23 in their house at Muthaiga Pipeline Estate after he sent their house-help to town twice for shopping. This was after bloodstains were found in their bedroom. And after the woman was killed, her body was burnt outside their house and later stashed in a sack waiting for disposal the following day, police said.
The mutilated body of Wangui was found near Paradise Lost along Kiambu Road in Nairobi on November 24 and later taken to the City Mortuary. And the body of Magu was found on the Thika-Garissa highway near Ngoliba on Wednesday where police believe he had either committed suicide after jumping onto a speeding bus. Officers from CID's Serious Crime Unit handling the case and have visited the scenes where the bodies were found and home of the couple
Head of the Unit John Kariuki said they are yet to know the motive of the deaths and the link to the missing children. The family said Monday they had searched thickets near where Magu's car was found abandoned with the engine running, mortuaries, dams and talked to the extended family and friends in a bid to find the children in vain. Magu's younger brother Andrew Kamau said before he died, Magu had contacted his lawyers to sign a will whose details he refused to divulge. On Tuesday, Magu spent the night at his father's home in Thika before he woke up early on the fateful day. Whereas he had left his city home with his children, he was not with them when he arrived at his father's home in Thika, police said. According to Kamau, Magu arrived at their home in Thika at about 2pm and held a brief talk with the parents before he excused himself and walked away
He returned about five hours later while wet, claiming he had been attacked by thugs and robbed his mobile phone near a pond near his father's homestead. The mobile phone was, however, found near the pond and police say they want to know who he had talked to before he died. Source

"Geneveive Nnaji, Rita Dominic Are Too Worthy To Date Me" – Nollywood Actor Solomon Akiyesi Says
YNaija recently caught up with controversial Nollywood actor, Solomon Akiyesi, who was nicknamed “serial husband” after his well-publicized scandal with three women last year and ina very interesting chat, Solomon revealed his thoughts about dating Genevieve Nnaji, Rita Dominic or Kate Henshaw. He also talked about his wedding saga, adding that in 2015 any tongue that rises against him again shall go dumb! Excerpts:
On who he’d love to date in Nollywood:
“None and it is not because none of them is good enough for me but they are too good to date. Nollywood has beautiful and extremely sexy women. Much as I love to work with any of them, dating is not what I think will work out. Genevieve is a very cerebral performer, Kate Henshaw has strong confidence, Rita is a beauty to behold and I love the way she walks in those jeans, she has got a talking waist line, they are all too worthy to date”
When asked if he had regrets about his wedding saga:
“I don’t regret the incident at all, the only regret I carry around in my life is my inability to save my mother from death even she begged me to. She was very sick and begged me not to let her die, she told me on her sick bed that if she died there might be a paradigm shift in my life, and truly the shift did come…..and massively too. I married in 2003 and walked out of it years later because of my impatience for deceit and lies, I tried my hands on marriage again in 2007 and I was quite comfortable and happy with that because I loved her to death until the adventure that came my way last year. I am actually happier being alone, some people are not destined to marry, I might just be one of them….I also want to admonish people to have strong facts about any issue before jumping into conclusion and making unguarded statements because of the proliferation of cheap Internet platforms.
For example all the half-wits who were throwing barrages at me because of the event of 13th April last year have not been able to prove that I was actually going to marry another woman beyond the the church drama. I’ve never paid bride price or gone to court to wed another woman after my wife….my ex wife. I’ve never taken any member of my family to any other village to go and knock on the door of another woman for marriage as a matter of fact I’ve never wedded any woman in any church. all my attempted marriages were usually hurriedly packaged under pressure and that’s were I get it wrong.
A woman shows me a little affection and I’m thinking marriage. A woman says she’s pregnant for me and I’m rushing to the alter without proper check. I trust and love stupidly. But I know mistakes are for learning and I’ve learnt the hard way but people were fast to jump into conclusions and call me names even when they didn’t know my reason for taking such unmitigated risk that almost tarnished my career and take my friends away. But within the last one year of being alone has taught me greater lessons I couldn’t have learnt as a married man. But in 2015 any tongue that rises against me again shall go dumb.”
