Olamide defends Wizkid over excessive collaboration charges

Wizkid is really having bad press these days. It seems he is in the bad book of so many people these days. He is in the eye of the storm over issues bordering on attitude and excessive collaboration charges from fellow artistes, Samklef and lately Saeon, rapper, Olamide has leapt to Wizkid’s defence.

The female singer in a recent instagram post allege that Wizkid was paid #1.5 million to feature on her song ‘Boogie down’ and he couldn’t even acknowledge her with a retweet about the song when it was released.
With the news going viral, fans have been seeking out other artistes who have featured Wizkid on songs, asking them how much they paid Wizkid probably in order to know where to place the blame.

A few minutes ago, a fan tweeted at Olamide asking the Bariga born rapper who raps in Yoruba language, him how much he paid Wizkid to feature on his 2011 hit single, ‘Omo to shan.’
In a manner reflecting maturity but which might not be the actual truth, Olamide replied saying:
‘He did it for free .. Let my nigga be great.’
