Omotola & Genevieve Are Jealous Of Each Other, They Snub Each Other On Movie Set - Filmmaker

 The ongoing rivalry between Nollywood superstars Omotola Jalade and Genevieve Nnaji is far from over.

 According to a popular American cinematographer Keith L Smith who witnessed the two recently on a movie set, it was very obvious the duo are not into each other anymore.

Keith said the two kept a wide distance from each other to avoid stepping on each other’s toes.

Hear what Mr Keith Smith told a Lagos softsell magazine:

“Let me tell you something: it was amazing. I did not see it, but I felt it. However, they were very professional with the way they got along. I knew there was something between them, and I had heard of it. But when they got in front of the camera, they put all that behind them, but whenever they finished their scenes, they went their separate ways”.

He added that they parted without saying a word to each other while their colleagues exchanged pleasantries.

Nollywood veteran actress,Omotola Jalade, one of the most influential women in the world can't stop talking about her husband. The actress married her hubby when she was 18 years and they are blessed with four beatuful and grown up kids. The entertainer who recently raised her voice to fight poverty alongside the likes of Waje and Yemi Alade for the ‘One campaign’ opened up in a chat with Vanguard on her decision to get married at the early age of 18.

When asked if she would have been a wife to another man if she had not married her husband, She said:

I don’t think so, because I don’t think there is any man that can handle me apart from my husband. Not because I am a bad person, it is because I am a very strong personality. I can understand why a lot of female artistes find it very difficult to find the right person.
When you achieve some kind of success, you become really confused as to who really loves you for who you are. It’s not really easy, it is very hard finding those people who really love you. If you are not a very grounded person, you can also contribute in some kind of way to your own problems and so I might have contributed to my own problems

 Popular Nollywood actress/reality TV star, Omotola Jalade in an exclusive chat with TW mag, opens up about her strong religious background. The mother of 4 revealed that she use to preach inside public transports. Read excerpts below:

 I realized I was different and it made me a target. A long time ago, when it was not popular to do so, I demanded that they pack my food on set. And they said I was proud. I tried to fit in, in the past, but after a while I feel I don’t have to be apologetic. I asked, ‘Why am I too fast?’ God told me, if that is how I made you, then don’t apologise for it. I have always demanded high standards, I have realized that I have the grace and energy to do it. But people do not understand the whole purpose until I am done.

Husband: I am favoured. He trusts my decisions. He knows I am not irresponsible even if I say so myself. I consider every decision carefully. He may have reservations but that is human, and that is not going to be a deal breaker.

Cheating Rumour: Men cheat for different reasons and women cheat for different reasons. For women, it usually happens when the spouse does not show care and love. It is not really the money. I don’t lack care; how much can you possibly give me more than what I already have? Also, you have to think about what you are going lose; your home, respect and integrity. When a woman cheats, then she really wants to cheat and it will be quite difficult to catch her at it because women are good planners.

Faith In God: I gave my life to Christ when I was 15 years and I used to preach inside ‘molue’. It is important that you find Christ and find him early. It is for your good. The fact that I found Christ early helped me to be focused. I always rely on God for direction (even when I wanted to get married), I just have to find peace with it and then go for it. I really did not indulge in those things that could have exposed me because I wasn’t interested. I don’t like clubbing. Even when I was single, you would have to pay me to go clubbing.

Plans for the future: In the next 20 years, I am hoping that I will be alive and God will grant me good health. I hope to be a sexy grandmother as well.”

In an industry where scandals and controversy is associated with almost every celeb, one of Nollywood's star actress and legend Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has managed to remain scandal free.  When asked by the Sun how she achieved her status, she said: 

People will always speculate about you and it could be very disheartening, especially when you have chosen to live right. I don’t want to sound like some holier-than-though whatever, but I work very hard to keep my brand away from scan­dals. I have fought. I have had to and I will not accept for you to humiliate me before everybody’. Often they try to be mischievous but I stick to my guns. Oftenstand and say, ‘hey! This is what I stand for times they have also turned around to say sorry. For heaven’s sake, I am responsible for the actions and decisions that I take.­”

On how to be a successful woman, she said:

It actually starts with character, personality and what beliefs. Everything wrong today actually started from the content of a character. Are you immoral or are you straight forward enough to actually say something and carry through with it. Is the content of your character strong enough? I believe that for you to be great in anything, you have to be someone anyone can trust.you believe in. It stems from your moral.
