K-Stew and R-Pattz plan face-to-face reunion after emotional one-hour call

 Robert Pattinson has agreed to meet with Kristen Stewart after she reportedly begged him to take her back.The couple are said to have shared an emotional, hour-long phone call with Rob confessing he "felt sad" for his cheating ex.

"She begged him to meet face-to-face so they could talk. It was obvious Kristen was getting through to Rob and he agreed to see her," a friend of the couple told Look magazine.The 26-year-old actor reportedly feels Kristen deserves a little sympathy, given she has been nicknamed a "trampire" following her controversial affair with Snow White director Rupert Sanders.

"He admitted it must be worse for her because she's not just dealing with heartbreak, but being portrayed as a villain, while he gets all the sympathy," said the friend."For the first couple of weeks he was wallowing in his own grief, but being forced to face people during [his Cosmopolis] promo, and seeing how angry everyone is with Kristen made him feel sad for her."

If Kristen can manage to convince Rob to look her in the face, the question begs, will she be able to get him back?The actor is reportedly showing signs he hasn't given up on his 22-year-old former love, with a source telling Heat magazine he has been wearing her sunglasses.

"Rob and Kristen always wore each other's clothes when they lived together, and the fact that they've not stopped doing that could be a signal that it's not over between them," said the source.But before Twilight fans rejoice in the possibility of their favourite on-screen couple reuniting, Kristen will have to agree to a few terms and conditions. British-born Rob is reportedly demanding that the duo spend more time in London than Los Angeles if they get back together.

The former couple haven't decided where they'll meet to discuss their future together but are reportedly considering Reese Witherspoon's ranch, where Rob is said to have hidden out following news of K-Stew's fling.

Lindsay Lohan Suspected of Jewelry Theft… Again

 Actress Lindsay Lohan has been tagged as a suspect in the theft of $100,000 worth of watches and sunglasses, says TMZ .Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Lohan and her assistant, Gavin Doyle, are being investigated after multi-millionaire Sam Magid reported the items stolen from his Hollywood Hills home last week.

The “Liz and Dick” actress had attended an all-night party at Magid’s home last Sunday when Magid made the claim, but since then, he recanted his story to say nothing was stolen.

No matter. TMZ says cops are continuing the investigation because they may have independent witnesses who can identify Lindsay and Gavin as the thieves.

The LAPD detectives reportedly contacted LiLo’s lawyer for an interview Monday and were turned away.

If Lindsay truly is the culprit, she could be in some major trouble because she is still on probation for the 2011 theft case involving a necklace lifted from a Venice jewelry store.

 The model and her fiance Wiz Khalifa are thought to be expecting their first child in January 2013 and Amber wants to move up their wedding date to October to avoid getting married when she is heavily pregnant, according to MediaTakeOut.com.

Rapper Wiz proposed to Kanye West's former girlfriend earlier this year and although the pregnancy was a surprise, the pair are said to be thrilled about the baby and are already making a number of lifestyle changes to prepare.

A source told RadarOnline: "Amber and Wiz unexpectedly got pregnant, but they're really happy to be starting a family together"."Amber's already had to make some big lifestyle changes, like not smoking cigarettes anymore. Elton John files libel suit against Times of London

LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Elton John is suing the Times of London for libel over stories he said falsely linked him to tax evasion. In two articles about "the secrets of tax avoiders," the Times said that Patrick McKenna of Ingenious Media was John's former accountant, allegedly implying John had been advised by McKenna to avoid paying taxes.

 McKenna is accused of advising wealthy British film investors to abuse movie tax breaks. The original stories were published on June 21 and discussed the film finance partnerships arranged by Ingenious Media, where McKenna served as CEO. 

 "We have been asked to make clear that the film finance partnerships arranged by Ingenious Media, whose CEO is Patrick McKenna, do not offer schemes of this type and they have not been involved in moving money offshore to avoid tax," the correction said. 

 The Times already published a correction on June 22 saying McKenna had never been the star's accountant, but John's lawyer's say the clarification was "wholly inadequate." Suing in a London High Court, the attorneys said the four-line apology "deliberately ignored the defamatory impact" of prominently placed articles, which appeared on pages one and six of the broadsheet, according to the BBC. 

 "The allegations are particularly damaging to the claimant's reputation in the sphere of charity fundraising," William McCormick, the pop star's attorney, said in a statement. The articles allegedly caused Sir Elton "severe damage to his reputation and personal distress and embarrassment." 

The "Bennie and the Jets" singer is now seeking damages for "the sense of insult and injury." The United Kingdom, notorious for what some call its "libel tourism," frequently rules in favor of plaintiffs and against publishers.

The rapper's latest track features previously unheard vocals by late R&B singer Aaliyah and has angered fans who have accused him of using the song as a vehicle to diss his love rival Chris.

The line has been perceived as a dig at Chris' mediocre album sales after his latest offering 'Fortune' sold 135,000 copies in its first week while Drake's 'Take Care' shifted 600,000.

Fans took to twitter in a rage after hearing the song, which has been released to honour the anniversary of Aaliyah's tragic death in a plane crash.

Lil Wayne taking a break from rap -- to

 Lil Wayne is issuing new music this month -- another entry in his "Dedication" mixtape series -- but after that, fans shouldn’t hold their breath for more from the Young Money leader. 

In an interview with DJ Drama on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 on Wednesday, Weezy expressed feeling a bit burnt out from rap and was looking to tackle another challenge. “Being me, I always feel like I ain’t done nothing yet, so I’m always looking for the next thing to do. 

It does get pretty boring when it comes to just the rapping and all that type of stuff,” he said. “I’ve been doing it since I was 8 and I’m about to be 30 in September.” Lil Wayne, who recently expanded his skater chic clothing line, TRUKFIT, to Macy’s stores, said he’s stepping back from the microphone in order to focus solely on skateboarding.

 "I picked up the skateboard and I thought it'd be a hobby and what happened is it's a lifestyle," he said. "You have to be fully committed because its super scary [Wayne broke his clavicle earlier this year]. In order to be fully committed you have to live that lifestyle. Like the young kids say, ‘You have to be about that life.’ It's kind of putting rap on the back burner.” "I think I deserve that," he continued.

 "I think fans deserve a little-to-no Wayne. I've been everywhere. I've been out on everybody's song. I’m still on everybody’s song. My artists have been doing awesome. I believe the fans deserve some peace from me. So I'll be on my skateboard in the meantime."

 No word on how far he plans on taking skateboarding, but it's doubtful Tony Hawk has anything to worry about. Wayne's "Dedication 4" mixtape will drop Aug. 15.

Snoop Lion wants to join 'American Idol'

Would the struggling "American Idol" show be more fun if the judges' onstage Coke cups were replaced with pimp cups filled with gin and juice?

Snoop Lion, the reggae singer who until very recently was known as the rap god Snoop Dogg suggested in an interview with Huffington Post that he's tossing his hat in to fill the departing Steven Tyler's seat on the show's judging panel. 

At a New York press volley introducing himself to the media in his new incarnation, he said that after learning of Mariah Carey's reported $18-million payday to join the judging panel, he wanted to bring a little irie to "Idol." "I'll clean my act up, but I'm still Rastafari," he said.

 He remains a dark horse in the replacement race, however. After Carey took the seat warmed by Jennifer Lopez, Nick Jonas and Pharrell Williams are still reportedly atop the "Idol" draft picks for the role, especially after Poison singer Bret Michaels stated that he's out of the running. 

Randy Jackson, the show's sole remaining original judge, is also mulling a change in roles on the show. If anything would shake up the twilight of "Idol's" ratings decline, it would be a newly Rasta Snoop Lion critiquing earnest young folk-rock singers from a cloud of NASA-grade weed. 

So we profoundly endorse this proposition, so much so that we'd eagerly watch "American Idol" next season if they can promise this.

While the story went viral, many condemned the 'omo baba olowo' artiste for the alleged violent act. Disturbed by it, the son of billionaire businessman, Deji Adeleke, was forced to open up on the news story. The MTN Pulse ambassador took to his twitter handle some hours ago to respond to the news item. According to him,

Renowned Romanian Pianist Dies At 33

Internationally renowned Romanian pianist Mihaela Ursuleasa has been found dead in her apartment in the Austrian capital, Vienna. She was 33.The musician's agent, Andreea Butucariu, said in a statement from Berlin Friday that Ursuleasa had died on Thursday from the effects of a cerebral hemorrhage and asked for her family's privacy to be respected.

 Police in Vienna confirmed the cause of death.Butucariu told Romanian media that Ursuleasa had recently cancelled two concerts in the Romanian capital, Bucharest, on unspecified health grounds.

Ursuleasa began playing the piano at 5 years old under the guidance of her Gypsy jazz musician father in then communist Romania. She obtained a grant to study in Vienna at 12, a year after communism collapsed.

She went on to play at New York's Carnegie Hall, with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester in Berlin, with Orchestre National de France and also with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Romanian soprano Felicia Filip on Friday reminisced about Ursuleasa's debut. "In my mind's eye I see the child lost in the immensity of the piano," she told Romanian news agency Mediafax, referring to one of the pianist's first public performances. "I recall a child who couldn't reach the piano pedals," she said.

"Mihaela was a huge pianistic talent with great musical instincts," said Bill Capone, managing director of Arts Management Group, who represented her. "Her untimely passing is very tragic and left those who knew her as an artist and person deeply saddened."

Ursuleasa is survived by a 5-year-old daughter. In a statement on the pianist's website, Butucariu asked that promoters "that had invited Mihaela for the next months" contribute towards an account for her daughter.

He said her funeral would be held next week, but provided no details where she would be buried.

"Artists like Mihaela are those who give us hope, help us feel and make us understand that music, and also art, prevails above everything else; that it makes us advance as human beings," Butucariu said in the statement.

"They make us realize that we are on the right path when we open not our eyes and ears but our hearts to listen, expecting music making to move us and take us someplace else. This is what Mihaela's music did."

Will Ferrell Calls Kristen Stewart a ‘Trampire’ on Conan

 Funnyman Will Ferrell, 45, appeared on Conan Thursday night to promote his new movie, “The Campaign,” but his heart just wasn’t in it. 

 That’s because Ferrell was distraught thinking about the fate of the former couple, Kristen Stewart, 22, and Robert Pattinson, 26, after Stewart’s apology for her “momentary indiscretion” with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

 Ferrell welled up when he explained his woes to O’Brien about the Twilight franchise couple’s cheating scandal. “She cheated on him, and they’re broken up and they aren’t going to get back together ever,” Ferrell said.

 “They were in love and she just threw it all away!” said Ferrell. While O’Brien tried to comfort his guest, Ferrell made it clear that he was on Team Pattison, calling Stewart a “trampire.” As Ferrell wailed on about the couple, he raised a question on many a Twihard’s mind — what will happen when the former duo has to face each other to promote the final installment of the Twilight Saga come November?

 Nancy Kirkpatrick, president of worldwide marketing for Summit, the studio behind the Twilight saga, told Entertainment Weekly, “While it is studio policy not to comment on the personal lives of actors, Summit is moving full steam ahead and looking forward to this November’s opening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2.”

 Meanwhile, Rupert Sanders’ wife, Liberty Ross, is laying down the law in the wake of his indiscretions with Stewart. RadarOnline reported that the The Snow White and the Huntsman director was looking forward to directing a follow-up to the film, but his wife may prevent him from doing so. “Liberty let it be known in no uncertain terms that Rupert can’t direct the sequel. 

She just doesn’t want him to ever work with Kristen again,” said a source to RadarOnline.
