Kris Humphries 'turns down Kim Kardashian's $10million offer to settle their divorce'

She previously claimed she felt 'handcuffed' to Kris Humphries because he refused to divorce her.

But it seems Kim Kardashian's cuffs are set to stay on a little longer, as the basketball player has reportedly turned down a $10million offer to settle their case.

According to RadarOnline.com, Kris, who is asking for an annulment on the basis of fraud, refused to accept the monetary payment in order to bring their lengthy divorce battle to an end.

A source close to proceedings told the website: 'After Kim filed for divorce, she offered Kris a $10 million payoff, with the agreement that he would not continue to pursue an annulment to their marriage on the grounds of fraud.

' However, Kris is said to have turned down the offer because it has 'never been about money'. The source added: 'He wants to be able to marry in a church again, with a clear conscience, when he finds someone special.

'Kris is deeply religious and he believes that the only way he can do that is if his marriage to Kim is annulled.' A spokesperson for Kim has denied that she made the offer. And contrasting reports on the battle on TMZ.com suggest that instead of making any such offer, Kim is in fact refusing to pay Kris anything.

In fact, the website allege that Kim is even demanding that Kris should cover the legal costs of the case. It is estimated that both Kim and Kris have spent in the region of $250,000 each so far on the as-yet-unfinalised divorce.
