RCCG Pastor Adeboye Take Measures To Curtail the Spread of Ebola Virus

It's time churches with international congregation around west Africa take measures to ensure Ebola Virus is not transferred as they carry out their numerous international church programme. The general Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has banned delegates from Ebola-hit countries from attending the ongoing church’s National Convention following the outbreak of Ebola virus in West Africa.

P.M NEWS reports that the pastor, popularly called ‘Daddy G.O by his congregation, took the decision to prevent the spread of the Ebola virus in Nigeria.
It was gathered that some officials of the Federal and Lagos State governments met with the RCCG leader few days ago to adopt precautionary measures that would prevent people from the infected countries such as Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, from coming to the church’s convention, which usually attracts thousands of participants.

It was discovered at the ongoing RCCG convention that no delegate from the Ebola-infected countries showed up.Speaking at the church’s ministers’ conference, Adeboye told the pastors that all those who fasted during the 100 days fasting period observed by members of the church should have no fear of Ebola as the disease would not get to them.

Adeboye also warned his pastors to avoid laying hands on anybody they suspected have full blown Ebola as they might contract the disease.
According to the latest statement from the World Health Organisation, WHO, the Ebola virus has killed no fewer than 932 people in West Africa since February 2014.
